Administrate measurement objects – Step by step

Measurement objects in Meridix Platform are the objects that define what you can measure in the reports. Every measurement object contains an id, a name and a collection point association. It also has a type which can be for example a CS1000 Extension or an MX-One Attendant. The available types depend on which module your installation has enabled. Different reports in the system uses different sets of types and it's therefor important that you specify the correct type for each object else they won't be visible when it's time to create the reports.
To get to the measurement object administration go to Administration→Measurement object in the menu.

When a measurement object is added on this page it is saved as an ungrouped measurement object, i.e. as a single measurement object.The page is divided in sections where each section contains a type of measurement objects.
As default all sections is minimized but you can easily expand them by clicking on the Show link in the section header.

When you click on the Show link the section is expanded and you can add new or change existing measurement objects.
