Information

Meridix uses SendGrid as a the default SMTP provider and the following Meridix dedicated host and IP is used for outgoing mails from our hosted systems.

Use MX Toolbox to verify that the host/IP is not blacklisted (http://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=blacklist%3ao1.distribution.meridix.eu&run=toolpage)

Each installation can have a custom SMTP definied and a customer within an installation can also have an overridden SMTP.

E-mail headers

The mail message will contain these headers from the original SMTP server in addition to others appended by other servers that has handled the mail.

Sender: [the name and sender address definied in Meridix Studio]
From: [the name and sender address definied in Meridix Studio]
To: [the target receiver email]
Return-Path: bounces{custom id identifying the mail for logging if delivery fails}@distribution.meridix.eu

Note that the Return-path (distribution.meridix.eu) domain is not pointing to the same domain (or IP) as the Received header (o1.distribution.meridix.eu).

Note
Any non granted use of the Meridix SMTP services and/or any SMTP credentials found within your Meridix application is strictly prohibited. The SMTP services provided by Meridix must not be used for mails not origin from Meridix products.

The meridix.eu DNS includes a record for distribution.meridix.eu that points to sendgrid.net (CNAME) and is not used for sending mails (it can be blacklisted).
