Change the type of a measuring object's ID

For example, a customer changes the type of a measurement object from Hunt group to Acd group.

The measurement object type affects how CDR data is presented in the reports.  If a customer changes the type of a measurement object from Hunt group to acd group with the same measurement object id/number and wants to be able to measure historical data when the measurement object was a hunt group, the measurement object must remain as a hunt group type. This means that the same measurement object now exists as a hunt group measuring object for historical reasons but also as an ACD measurement object.

If  measured with the Acd report during the period when the measurement object was a hunt group, the report will show data incorrect.

If measured with the Hunt group report after the measurement object is changed to ACD, the report will show incorrect data.

Meridix's solution to this problem is to configure a "Valid to date" for the Hunt measurement object id and a "valid from date"group measurement object for the ACD measurement object

example

This means that the Hunt group number is valid to "Valid to date" and a "valid from date" under the Acd group number.
