Here you can find some information that will make your work easier when using the Meridix Platform. We have gathered some of our most valuable work-hacks, for you to use when you are working in the system or when you are presenting it for your customers. We hope this will bring as much value to you as it has for us. Enjoy!

Multiple filter strings
There is a way to use multiple filter strings to quickly find your target group, regardless if they are in different hierarchical groups or not.
To add multiple filter strings in one search, simply add commas (,) to separate your terms. You can also exclude filter matches by prefixing the term with an exclamation mark (!).
Here all matches for ”filip”, ”henrik” and ”wendel” but without any results that contain”lars” (Lars Wendelstam).
Previously checked items will always be visible so it’s easy to do multiple filters for a single selection. In this example: Nael does not match the filter but was previously filtered out and will, therefore, be shown.
“WYSIWYG” - What You See Is What You Get
EXTRA! This is not really a work-hack, but it's an update we know all of you have been waiting for: From the January (2020) release of Meridix, our Excel exports will contain ALL charts that are presented in the web user interface.
Simply, what you see on the web is what you get in your inbox!
Copy a saved report to multiple groups
Admins can log in as a user
Administrators can log in as another user directly in the system, without needing to know the user's password. This is very useful when helping a user or if you want to see how a user will experience the system with his/her current settings.
Go to the Administration section in the main menu of the reporting system.
Choose “users” and all your users will be presented to you as a list.
Click on the user that you would like to log in as and you will get to its settings.
Choose “additional” in the top menu.
Here you can also lock out the user from the system or re-send the initialization email if the user has forgotten his/her credentials.
Easier access to the report API
Now you can easily create the API report parameters directly from a report in the web UI. When you have created a report, simply choose “Download HTTP Report API JSON Parameters for current report” and you will get the information you need.
All the settings made in the report are exported to simply be copy-pasted into the report API request of your BI system or any other external application.
