With a news section on the start page, our partners get an information channel to reach out to their users directly on the platform.
The feature has multilingual support, so it's possible to present a news post in several different languages. What language the post will be presented in depends on the viewer's account settings.
Create/publish, edit and delete news
Who can create and publish a news update?
Only system owners have the access to write and publish news. Their news will be shown for the whole system and the users who have access to it. More info
They can either write the news themselves, but will also have updates from Meridix available to repost as themselves if they’d like to.
Create news
1 . Click on the “Create new“ button.
2. The article body (content) supports markdown. Markdown is a form of formatted text. For a quick and simple guide to markdown, follow the green link below the content.
The article won’t be visible in the news section on the start page until it’s published. It is possible to add links to external pages for further information. Links will automatically be opened in a new tab on the web browser.
Languages
Languages that are supported by the system can be added to a news article. Click the Add language button and select the language from the options.
Add the headline and article body.
Edit news
To edit a news article, add/remove languages or publish/unpublish the article, open the article from the news page.
Delete news
Open the news article and press the delete button. It is also possible to delete languages from a news article.
This operation can’t be undone.
System template news
Meridix systems will also publish news for partners to easily republish and share with their customers.
Reach out with important information to users directly on the start page. System owners write news themselves or republish information created by Meridix. Due to multilingual support, it is possible
to present news updates in several different languages. This type of content are written in English but simular to a regular news article the content have multi language support.
