On the My account page, users and administrators can edit the account settings such as name, email, two-factor authentication, password management, and more.

Two-factor authentication

Meridix Platform offers three alternatives for two-factor authentication (2FA):

  • E-mail

  • Phone number

  • OTP/Authenticator app

Depending on what system settings (which are set by the system manager) and permissions you have, it may vary which one of these alternatives you are able to choose between.

How to add an ITP/authenticator app for your 2FA signing in:

To activate an OTP/authenticator app, just follow the steps in the platform:

  1. Download an authenticator app of your choice on your smartphone or tablet. We have linked two alternatives for you for easy and quick download (Microsoft Authenticator and Google Authenticator).

  2. Open the authenticator app and choose to add an account. Scan the QR code or enter the code manually into the authenticator app.

  3. Verify that the generated code in the app works.

  4. Generate OTP configuration

How to remove the authentication app as an alternative for 2FA:

If you wish to delete the OTP/authenticator app alternative, choose “configure” in the Configure two-factor authenticator window.

IWhen you have an OTP/authenticator app verified and set, it shows a “Delete” button next to the “Verify” button. Click delete to remote your settings.
