Why Views?

We know that it can feel overwhelming to get started with the world of data. How do I know what data I should be looking at – and how do I find that specific data?

To make it easier for new users of the Analytics platform to receive value within an instance and to get a quick start into the world of data, we created the feature Views. This is a feature that simplifies the efforts to present relevant data and therefore even the smallest company with minimum manpower can gain value from the Analytics platform. It only presents the most common KPIs for all their communication data. It requires a low level of knowledge of the system to get started and there’s no need for deep diving into the data. Unless you don’t want to; if you want to, Views can be the start of your data journey to new insights and opportunities.

What is it?

Historically, to get any data from the analytics platform, the user needed to first create a basic or advanced report. This often includes some action to take and decisions to make; what measurement objects should I look for, at what dates, and do agents and queues data get presented in the same report?

Views provide the user with a quick glimpse of real data right at the start page of the platform. With only one click, the user gets an overview of predefined KPIs for all its data measurements. For example, a user within a company that uses Telepo as a communication service gets one View of all their incoming calls for all queues, one View for all users' data, and one View for all IVRs data. A Teams View presents all meetings and calls for all users of Teams.

Gateway to new opportunities

For companies that only want to have an overview of all their gathered data measurements combined, the feature Views will get them far. However, when a company wants to start deep diving into its data and go into detail behind it, Views also works as a great gateway for the start of its data journey.

From views, the user can go directly to a basic or advanced report, or quickly create a Dashboard based on the Views statistics.
